Vinnies Paddington is a heritage building turned second-hand haven, and as the neon sign says, you can head upstairs for the ‘Retro Section’. They also sell bric-a-brac and have a pretty solid record collection!

A hidden inner-city gem, Local Opy is a not-for-profit that donates the entirety of their shop earnings to a different charity each month. Head up to the second level of 134 Adelaide Street to find some gorgeous gems, all organised by colour. Local Opy is perfect for a quick shop on your lunch break so swing by and go snap up some corduroy pants or a new pair of sunnies!

Studio Thrifty 4

Studio Thrifty 4 is all about high-quality modern and vintage for incredible prices. Literally. Everything is $5 or less. They’re a 100% charity operation too, so rest assured, all their funds are going to a good cause. We challenge you to go there and NOT find something amazing to jazz up your wardrobe. SWOP is Brisbane’s local arm of the famous SWOP clothing exchange, which is great for buying some premium pre-loved clothes, shoes and accessories. Their stores are gorgeous, socially responsible and perfectly curated for some vintage-chic vibes. The cool thing about SWOP is that they’ll actually buy your goods at their Brisbane location for store credit or cash… gone are the days of just donating!
