From Wednesday 14th to Sunday 18th October you can grab yourself a schooner and a schnitty while you play a game of darts or shufl! Guests will be treated to live music, German beer on tap as well as a selection of 10inch pretzels. So go on, put on your favourite lederhosen or dirndl and get a pretzel under your palate. Grab a seat in Post Office Square to watch a screening of ‘My Best Friend’s Weddings’

Looking for the perfect date night idea? Or simply wanting to spice up your hump day this week? Why not ditch your peak-time commute home, and head on down to Post Office Square for Brisbane’s hottest free event. There’ll be flicks and plenty of food on offer. You can purchase delicious grazing boxes from Isles Lane and treat yourself to something from the bar – there will be a mix of wine (white, red, sparkling & rosé), beer and soft drinks.

While we may not be able to shred dancefloor at Birdee’s under current COVID restrictions, we can enjoy a Mixed Bag of LOL’s at their sweet new night of none-stop laughs. Get your laughter fix this Friday as some of Brisbane’s funniest comedians take to the stage for a stand-up show that is guaranteed to leave you crying tears of joy! Food and drinks will be available while you sit back and enjoy the laughter attack from 5:30-7:50pm. The Oyster & Seafood Festival at Sandstone Point – Saturday 17th October

If you’re a fan of slurping down molluscs or munching on other morsels from the ocean, then Sandstone Point’s Oyster & Seafood Festival is an event that you won’t want to miss! Enjoy an ocean of things to see and do on Saturday 17th October from 11am. The waterfront will come alive with fresh seafood stalls including mussels, calamari, prawns & more to indulge in, freshly shucked oysters, hilarious oyster eating competitions, oyster shucking demonstrations and seafood cooking demonstrations with celebrity chef Sally Jenyns. You can bring the whole family along for a day of fun with kids rides, live music and entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display at 7:30pm!
