Brisbane Dinosaur Festival 2020 – Tuesday 20th October

Tango with a tyrannosaurus, boogie with a Brachiosaurus, and jive with a Jobaria at the Brisbane Dinosaur Festival! This colossal event will be kicking off on the 20th of November at the Brisbane Showgrounds! This mesmerising, world class dinosaur exhibition will feature life-size, robotic, animatronic dinosaurs from the Jurassic, Cretaceous and Triassic periods such as Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and the Stegosaurus. Not only will guests get to meet these beautiful beasts up close and personal, but enjoy a whole range of family-friendly activities. Think Jurassic Park-style tours, dino fossil digging, jumping castles, reptile displays, electric train and carousel rides, and dinosaur street theatre! Ginspired Dinner at Pig ‘N’ Whistle Riverside – Thursday 22nd October

The team at Pig ‘N’ Whistle have been ‘Gin-spired’ to bring you a four-course dinner with, yes you guessed it, a gin theme! From 6:30pm guests can grab a seat at the riverside restaurant and enjoy a journey of flavours paired with a glass of infused gin. For $65pp guests will be treated to a Gordon’s Sicillian Lemon cocktail paired with Kooringal oysters, shallots, ginger, and chilli upon arrival. Shortly followed by a delightful entree of gin cured Atlantic salmon, herbed creme fraiche, roasted beetroot, pickled shallot & baby celery paired with Four Pillars Chardonnay Barrel Gin cocktail. Guests will be treated to an organic lamb confit, fondant potato, minted peas, broad beans, cucumber yoghurt, and jus paired with a rich Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin for mains. And finally, attendees will be treated to a lemon meringue tart with blood orange ice cream paired with Tanqueray’s orange Sevilla for dessert! The IsoLate Late Show: Live! – Saturday 24th October
