Christmas Putt Putt at Victoria Park – Monday 9 November to Thursday 31st December
Christmas is an extra Santa-mental time of year, and the team at Victoria Park Golf Complex are inviting you to celebrate this magical season with them. Whether you’re a putt putt pro or playing for the first time, yule be sure to have a tree-mendous time at Brisbane’s only Christmas themed putt putt course!
This 18-hole mini-golf course is inviting locals to step inside a Christmas putt putt wonderland from Friday 6th of November to Thursday 31st December! The course will feature Santa, Frosty the Snowman, gingerbread people, grazing reindeers, giant candy canes, and a sneak peek into Santa’s Toy Shop. Guests can enjoy a magical day session with Santa and his friends from 6am-5pm for a magical day session or enjoy the course under a sea of Christmas lights from 5pm-11pm. Live Music at Felons Barrel Hall – Thursday 12th November & Saturday 14th November
The Felons Barrel Hall, inspired by the German beer halls of Europe, is serving up steins of uniquely aged beers, a punchy, flavoursome menu and a plethora of cultural performances amidst a sea of French and American Oak barrels and banter! Joining the sensation Barrel Hall line-up this week is Soul Mechanics and Pocketlove! This Thursday 12th November grab a stein and enjoy Soul Mechanics’ funky soul-jazz sounds with Papa Joe joining them on the baritone sax. Saturday 14th November will then see the rowdy eight-piece ensemble, Pocketlove, put the pocket into funk, soul and reggae!

Studio Ghibli at Elizabeth Picture Theatre – Thursday 12th November & Sunday 15th November
Studio Ghibli has taken over the Elizabeth Picture Theatre! The hihgly celebrated Japanese animation film studio, best known for its many animated feature films, is gracing the big screen from October to December with some their most recognizable works. Grab a choc top, choose your seat and let the animated magic begin! This week you catch a screening of Princess Mononoke on either Thursday 12th November or Sunday 15th November. Watch as Princess Mononoke joins young Ashitaka in his attempts to broker peace between the human settlement, irontown, and the creatures living in the forest that surround it.
