The Emporium Hotel South Bank is offering a variety of exceptional themed sweets and treats to brighten the spirits of young and old during this Easter season.
From April 1 through 19, head to The Terrace for some of the city’s best views. Pair this with a Cold Cross Bun cocktail, made with spiced rum, chilled butter, and saffron syrup. Not up your alley? How about a Holiday Hopper? White cacao meets refreshing Mount Tamborine Crème de Menthe in this limited edition drink.
If that doesn’t take your fancy there are some very Easter-themed foodie delights to nibble on.
Sweet tooth? Try a Hot Cross Scone with raspberry and rose jam. Under the watchful eye of Emporium’s newly minted *internationally trained pastry chef, who has made delectable desserts for seven and six-star hotels throughout the world, their edible garden was created and is a must-try.
From April 15-18, The Terrace is serving a $65 seafood platter that includes Bribie Island Oysters, Moreton Bay Bugs, Mooloolaba Prawns, and Ora King Salmon Sushi with Yuzu Aioli.
On the ground floor, visit Belle Epoque for a special high tea that transports you to Easter in Europe – exclusively available Easter weekend. Hot Cross Scones, Bunny Cookies, Edible Garden, Prawns Vol au Vent, and Curried Egg Brioche are just a few of the delicious selections. As this is only available April 16-18, bookings are recommended.
The aforementioned “Hot Cross Bunny” cocktail is available at the Piano Bar. The flavor of this drink is a tantalizing combination of vanilla vodka, applejack brandy, hot chocolate, cinnamon syrup, and dark chocolate liqueur.
