Regional Flavours Returns to South Bank Parklands with a Massive Line-Up of A-List Chefs

Regional Flavours festival at South Bank

If you’re a foodie, then you won’t want to miss Regional Flavours! This massive festival is coming back to South Bank Parklands next month, and it’s bringing with it a line-up of some of Brisbane’s best chefs alongside Masterchef alums. You’ll be able to watch cooking demonstrations, listen to talks from industry experts, and taste delicious food from all over Australia. There really is something for everyone at Regional Flavours – so make sure you mark the date in your calendar!

From May 13 – 15, Regional Flavors will once again bring together a mix of farmers, graziers, producers, winemakers, brewers, distillers, and artisan producers from all around Australia at the market section of Regional Flavours.

The chance to learn how to cook native dishes with renowned bush tucker expert Dale Chapman will be another one of the event’s highlights. Dale’s considerable culinary expertise and understanding have seen her teach and promote “slow food” in France, Italy, and Japan’s culinary centres.

Throughout three stages of the event, you’ll learn about everything from wine and cheese pairings to a Gin Lovers experience and farm-to-table sustainability, as well as classic Italian and Chinese cooking and more.

During the weekend, there will be live music and DJ sets in three locations, and a Kids Collective helping to get youngsters interested in taking a responsible food path from an early age.

Brisbane’s Lord Mayor has said “Locals and tourists know there has never been a more important time to support our locally-owned sellers, growers and restaurateurs, so I encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunities Regional Flavours will provide.”
