Beers on the Lawn

Local brewers and tastemakers will gather this weekend at Howard Smith Wharves to showcase some of the best beer and cider in the region. Spend your Saturday or Sunday afternoon (or both) this weekend enjoying a cold beer riverside while enjoying live music, delicious food and, of course, good beer. Dance for Bushfire Relief

Get your dancing shoes on because this Saturday you can join Queensland Ballet company dancers, teaching artists and special guests in their ‘Dance for Bushfire Relief’ fundraiser. All proceeds will be donated to The Rescue Collective. Classes include barre and tone, a stretch class, yoga and meditation, turning technique class, allegro technique class, dance fitness, petit pointers (ages 2–5), ballet for seniors (beginners and intermediate classes) and an adult ballet open. Worried you don’t have enough experience? Fear not! Dancers of all ages and ability levels are invited to join in on the fun. The Green Edge Charity Bake Sale

On the hunt for new vegan delights? Head to The Green Edge this Saturday and stock up on some of your favourite sweet and savoury treats at their fundraiser bake sale! Baked donations are welcomed, but an ingredients list is required. All funds raised on the day will go towards Cranky’s Farm to help with drought relief and their ongoing work rescuing animals. Summer youth pop culture party

Dogs N Beats Silent Disco

What’s better than a silent disco? A silent disco with your dog. That’s right, a dog friendly silent disco is coming to Brisbane this Sunday. There will be local business stalls, good music and, most importantly, doggos. Don’t have a pooch to bring along but still want to join in on the fun? You’re welcome – with or without a dog by your side. I mean, seriously, could a Sunday get better? Plus, $10 from every ticket sold will be donated to the RSPCA. Newstead Brewing Co’s Sunday Roast

Summer’s End Garden Party 2020

Spirited Away at GOMA

It’s been almost 20 years since the Japanese movie ‘Spirited Away’ hit our screens, and this Sunday you can watch the film all over again at GOMA. The film is being screened as part of GOMA’s ‘The Noise of Waters’ program, which will run until March 8. Take a dip in X Cargo’s shipping container swimming pool

Until the end of the month, you can enjoy a summer swim in a totally unique way at X Cargo. Make the most of Pool Club by soaking up the summer rays on a day bed or in a poolside cabana with your group of friends. Packages for cabana hire start at $500 and include Cîroc bottle service and a private waiter or waitress.

Water at GOMA

Immerse yourself in ‘Water‘ until April at GOMA.
