The venue boasts exposed weatherboard exteriors with a light interior, an elevated deck dining area, playful colour palette, alabaster stone, and hand-made rattan light fittings and finishes. Combine this with an impressive 180° view of Brisbane, spanning Brisbane’s fruitful Botanic Gardens and impressive City skyline, and you have yourself the perfect venue to sip the weekend away!

Whether it’s a quick morning coffee, a relaxing Sunday brunch, the ultimate boozy long lunch or a quiet romantic date night, Joey’s has everyone feeling at home. Former Cru Bar Executive Chef, Jason Walker, is at the helm of the kitchen, showcasing fresh and locally sourced produce designed to be shared. The seafood-rich menu features Joey’s iconic Prawn Sandwich, signature Kingfish Tacos and fresh local Fish of the Day. If seafood doesn’t tantalise your tastebuds, then a slice of the in-house wood-fired pizza is sure to tickle your fancy!

With every great meal, comes even greater wine! Joey’s wine list has been carefully curated by Judy Hirst Award Winner, Australian Sommelier of the Year, Ian Trinkle. Boasting an extensive selection of Rosé, with a focus on modern varietals and undiscovered labels. Joey’s is also home to some seriously good signature Cocktails, featuring the much-loved flavours of Queensland with fresh and considered combinations.

Joey’s, the brainchild of local entrepreneurs Jordan Cowen, Michael Koo and Mark Bignell, opened its doors to the public on Friday, 23rd October, breathing life back into the Kangaroo Point Landmark. After a competitive tender process, the iconic Council site atop the Kangaroo Point Cliffs was awarded to Bellissimo Coffee in partnership with Jordan Cowen. “We were thrilled to take over this Brisbane landmark site and can’t wait to share what we have created with the people of Brisbane. Joey’s has been approached with a clear goal of providing the community with a destination to love and celebrate its idyllic surroundings,” explains Cowen.
