Starward’s flavoursome whisky is a result of maturing their drop in red wine barrels, drawing out their signature fruity and delicious amber nectar in just three short and tasty years. Bringing together quintessential Australian grains; wheat and malted barley, each whisky has a unique flavour profile due to the distillation process that uses an array of locally sourced red wine barrels to bring out a variety of bold and punchy flavours. From smooth to delicate, tropical and caramel, lovers of whisky and those new to the whisky scene will enjoy every sip of these delightful drams.

Kick off the long weekend early on Thursday, 1st October and arrive at Ehden Bar & Kitchen from 6pm where you’ll be greeted with an old fashioned before being guided through the Starward whisky portfolio and food pairings.
Guests can expect kingfish ceviche matched with Starward Two-Fold, mini beef wellington, pea puree & onion jam matched with Starward Nova, banoffee panna cotta matched with Starward Solera, and twice baked blue cheese soufflé matched with Starward Red Manhattan
