Brisbane’s Favourite Southside Beer Event Returns! Meet The “Beermuda Triangle”

Let us pitch you an idea: 3 breweries, significantly more than 3 beers and a whole afternoon of shenanigans. Bonus: you don’t have to drive! There’ll be a FREE bus ferrying you on your beer journey.

This idea is the annual “Beermuda Triangle”. Brought to you by Brisbane breweries Slipstream, Helios and Ballistic. The event is even free, the beers are (sadly) not.

You just pick a starting point and when you’ve had your fill at one venue, pop on a bus and start all over again at the next brewery.

Each of the venues will be tapping a very special dark beer, brewed specifically for the event. Slipstream is offering up their “Lost Patrol Dark Lager.” Meanwhile, Helios is coming in strong with a Coffee, Chocolate and Vanilla Affogato Stout.

Slipstream’s onsite restaurant or the guest food trucks at Helios & Ballistic, as well as outstanding entertainment, make for a stellar way to spend your Saturday of the long weekend. Across the three venues you’re spoiled for choice with over 50 beers.

The event itself starts at 1pm and runs all the way through to 7pm. Buses depart each venue at approximately 30-minute intervals. The venues themselves are family-friendly but please note it’s 18+ only on the buses.

Need directions?

Slipstream Brewing is located at 94 Wilkie Street, Yeerongpilly.

Helios Brewing is located at 15 Palomar Road, Yeerongpilly.

Ballistic Beer is located at 53 McCarthy Road Salisbury.
