Break glass in-CAKE of emergency!

Ever felt that your compulsive sugar cravings were a genuine case of dire emergency? Well, you aren’t alone! The Mason Baker wholeheartedly agrees that the urgency of satisfying your sweet tooth is worthy of smashing an alarm – so that’s exactly what they have done!

Throughout the entire month of October, The Mason Bakery will be filling the streets of Brisbane with their Emergency Cake Boxes, masquerading as typical fire extinguisher boxes that are filled with a handful of mouth-watering (and free!) Mason JarCakes.

These cleverly disguised emergency cake boxes will be popping up in a new Brisbane location daily!

This Banksy-inspired, edible art activation is just begging for you sugar addicts to smash these babies open and get your fix! The Mason Baker founder, James Willis, and his team will be erecting a new installation in a new location everyday throughout October. Each secret location will be published on the @themasonbaker instagram account each day and will work on a first in first served basis. Be sure to check in to their insta daily before you miss out!

Willis and his team have created this ultra funky interactive installation to help sweeten up what has been a pretty tough year for many. “Our gourmet JarCakes were designed to be the perfect gift to sweeten up a bad day, a celebration of something exciting, or just a plain ol’ day ending in Y,” Willis explains.
