Brewdog’s DogTap – Murrarie

Enter through the arch of oak barrels and enter into the industrial oasis that is Brewdog’s DogTap. Bring your pooch along and grab a seat at one of the indoor booths, pull up a chair by the outdoor fireplace, or simply lounge out under the sea of starry lights in the courtyard and enjoy views of the adjacent views of New Farm and the epic exterior artwork. The aim is in the name at Brewdog’s DogTap.
Fitz + Potts – Nundah
This eclectic rooftop bar is Nundah’s best-kept secret! This labyrinth of funky nana-style retro rooms leads guests out to a sun-soaked wrap-around tiki bar where you and your four-legged friend can enjoy an afternoon of barks and brews (we recommend that you give their delicious ‘Dave’ cocktail a try!). Fitz + Potts offers plenty of dog treats as well as 100% vegan treats for humans!
All Inn Brewing Co. – Banyo

Tucked in the back streets behind Banyo’s industrial hub is where you will find All Inn Brewing Co. Between the sixteen beers on offer, pinball machines, food trucks, live entertainment, and plenty of seating, this suburban brewery is the perfect afternoon hang-out location for you and your four-legged friend!
Welcome to Bowen Hills – Bowen Hills
Welcome to Bowen Hills if a food truck haven located within the Ekka’s dairy hall and sugar building. Bring your four-legged friend along to the 1000 person beer garden and enjoy a tantalizing tipple from the extravagant bar (That has 68 taps to choose from) and grab a bite for you and your doggo from the endless supply of food trucks! These trucks rotate daily so you and your dog will never be disappointed!
Felon’s Brewing Co. – Brisbane City

This shining red beacon of brews, nestled on the banks of the Brisbane River beneath the Story Bridge, is the perfect location to sip on a coldie with your four-legged friend! Felons’ decor, the menu, and of course the brews are a nod to the classic Queensland lifestyle. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the dog-friendly deck area, or out on the green beneath the sunshine. Kangaroo Point’s first craft brewery, located under the Story Bridge, is one of Brisbane’s favourite family, child, and dog-friendly watering holes. Sea Legs Brewery house nine sensational beers on tap, a stellar wine list, and a cracking good menu. This laidback warehouse-style brewery is the perfect location to knock back a few coldies with your favourite four-legged friend – be careful, you may even leave with a pair of sea legs yourself!
Maniaxe – New Farm

Embrace your inner Viking at New Farm’s Maniaxe, the second axe-throwing joint to open in Brisbane. This is the perfect location to blow off steam, sip on a cider and hang out with your pals and pooch. Sessions times run for 2 to 2.5 hours and can be done solo or as a group. This kitschy little pocket-sized bar may look small, but trust us, the flavours are BIG. Hellbound is a punchy bar and eatery that serves up good food, good beer, and good times. Inside you will find stunning wall murals, neon signs, and plenty of seating. Bring your dog along and enjoy the outdoor seating and enjoy an ice-cold beer, or treat yourself to a golden Gaytime Espresso Martini, a Hellbound exclusive.
Joey’s – Kangaroo Point

With a name like Brewski bar it’s pretty clear that they love craft beer. With 12 rotating taps, and over 150 craft beer bottles on offer, they have got something for everyone! This groovy bar also does scummy American-style barbeque along with plenty of cracking vegan options. Wet your whistle and satisfy your taste buds inside or bring your dog along for the ride and enjoy an arvo in their open-air dining area.
Ballistic Beer Co – Salisbury

Set amongst the historic, industrial suburb of Salisbury is where you will find Ballistic Beer Co, a cool suburban brewery set in an old World War II shed. The modern industrial interior features high ceilings, a polished concrete bar with timber trim, and plenty of picnic-style tables with a massive World War II aircraft mural overlooking the venue. There are 12 taps with four mainstays and plenty of pub grub on the menu. Dogs are welcome anywhere, anytime in the venue and we think that’s the best reason to ballistic!
The Boundary Hotel – West End

This legendary watering hole was first built back in 1864 and has now become one of Brisbane’s favourite location sit back and enjoy a cold one. This dog-friendly venue features live music, cheap drinks, comedy nights, two floors of dining, and plenty of pooch-friendly spots. Bring your pup for pats and wet your whistle in The Boundary Hotel‘s colourfully-chic beer garden.
Slip Stream Brewing – Yeerongpilly

Hidden down a laneway in Yerongpilly, is where you will find Slip Stream Brewing, a fabulous boutique brewery and dog-friendly taproom. Inside the big ol’ tin shed is where you will find a bar area fitted out with retro lounges and recycled tables that overlook the brewing tanks. Easy Times Brewing Co -Woolloongabba

Nestled along Logan Road in Woolloongabba’s antique precinct (directly adjacent to the Gabba), is where you will find this stunning two-storey brewpub. Pull up a chair for you and your pooch in either their sunny outdoor seating area, indoors beneath a strikingly colourful mural, or upstairs on the mezzanine level overlooking the stainless steel vats and wider Woolloongabba area. The Paddo Tavern, located along Given Terrace, is one of the most beloved bars in Brisbane’s West, if not the entire city! Zero Fox – Teneriffe

This funky little bar and Japanese kitchen is the perfect spot to pop in for a cold one while taking your dog for a waterfront stroll. Newstead Brewing Co. – Newstead

Once used as an art warehouse, this stripped-back industrial-style building is now home to one of Brisbane’s favourite brewers, Newstead Brewing Co. You can pull up a stool in the high-ceilinged space and pick your poison as you watch over the brewers working their magic on the other side of the glass fence. Newstead Brewing Co is the perfect place to bring your pooches and your pals to enjoy some onsite brews and a good ol’ hearty gastro-pub feed.
The Osbourne Hotel – Fortitude Valley
This absolute historic gem of a venue, founded in 1864, boasts over 94 taps of local and international craft beer, a boutique wine list, and plenty of classic cocktails to get whistle wet. You and your dog can pull up a chair amongst the luscious greenery and funky artwork out in The Osbourne’s glass-roofed beer garden. Spend your afternoon socialising or smashing down a meal from their extensive menu – this place is a 100% guaranteed good time!
OCHE – Fortitude Valley

Ever wanted to play a round of darts with your dog? Well, now you can at OCHE, Brisbane’s first dedicated darts bar! Inside of the heritage-listed Flour Mill building is a moody wood-soaked setting with dark wooden booths, maroon leather seating, grand industrial chandeliers, and a mix of stained glass and sash windows. However, outside is where the puppy party really gets started! Bosc – West End
This little rustic beer and gin bar, located on West End’s Vulture Street, is you and your dogs home away from home. Their eclectic fit-out is made up of mostly recycled or upcycled materials, after all, Bosc does stand for ‘bar of social conscience.’ Spend the day sipping away on one of their many gin offerings, or simply share a delicious feed with your dog inside this homely West End gem.
Aether Brewing Co – Northgate

After the roaring success of their Milton microbrewery, Aether Brewing Co has converted a massive Northgate warehouse into their second craft brewery location. This dog-friendly bar, brewery and tap house hosts a bar surrounded by large timber communal tables, oak barrels with bar stools, and shining beer vats full of goodness. You can select up to 10 premise-brewed beers o tap or 10 tinnies, including an alcoholic ginger beer. While there is no onsite kitchen, you can chow down on a hearty feed from one of the resident food trucks.
Hop & Pickle – South Brisbane
Hop & Pickle is one of South Bank’s favourite craft beer hangouts. This dog-friendly venue provides undercover deck seating that overlooks the adjacent parklands, making it the perfect spot to drop in while taking your pooch on a riverfront stroll. This British gastro-pub serves up a plethora of local and international brews, wine, and cocktails along with a stealthy menu that is sure to impress.
