This Sunday and Monday, Story Bridge Adventure Climb is offering a deal on their add-in activities. You can get a second activity added in for free! All weekend long, El Camino Cantina will be hosting Australia Day festivities at their Bowen Hills and Chermside locations. With an Australian inspired menu including goodies such as strawberry margaritas topped with Zooper Doopers and meat pie tacos, they’ve got everything covered. And don’t worry, they’ll definitely be pumping the Hottest 100 on Saturday.

Covent Garden Ginuary 2020 – Hottest 100 Aussie Gins of 2019
The Hottest 100 is an important celebration of Australian culture, yes, but there’s another important countdown in town. Covent Garden’s Ginuary event highlights 100 of Australia’s best gins, complete with a massive party.
In its second year, this event will be different due to attendees being able to sip freely on most of the gins as part of a Hottest 100 Drinks Package. If you vote online at hottest100gins.com.au, you’ll also receive a promo code for 10% off this package. There will also be four separate degustation stations by Ink Gin, Four Pillars Gin, Brookie’s Gin & Fever Tree, as well as canapés served throughout the day. To top it all off, you can win $500 in venue vouchers & limited edition stock giveaways.
Please note: ticket sales close tonight at 8pm, and come in two forms. For $39pp, you can get access to the degustation stations and finger food, and for $149pp you can also access to the drinks package.

Hottest 100 Listening Party at Welcome To Bowen Hills

This year’s Hottest 100 is broadcasting on Saturday, and Welcome To Bowen Hills will be one of the places to be. During songs 100-70, you can get your hands on a beer and burger for just $12, during songs 70-20 all beers purchased from their karma keg will be going towards bushfire relief, and during songs 20-1 you can get a pizza and beer for just 10 dollary-doos.

Hottest 100 Backyard Party at Ric’s
This Saturday, Ric’s will be hosting a backyard party while pumping out the Hottest 100, complete with cold bevvys and a barbecue. The party goes on after the countdown ends, with bands and DJs set to take over!

BBQ, Bacon & Beer Fest at The Shafston Hotel
For the first time but certainly not the last time, The Shafston Hotel is hosting the BBQ, BACON & BEER FEST. Supporting the drought affected farmers, this event promises an AC/DC tribute band and other local bands, barbecue food trucks, bacon eating competition, super soaker races, outdoor bars and DJ’s in the Veranda Bar. Alongside their mini pig race and auction, it’s sure to be one of the most unique Australia Day events on this weekend!

Australia Day at South Bank

If you want to be showered with options, head down to River Quay this Australia Day for a special edition of Sunday Social on the Green. You can bring your own picnic or indulge in takeaway hampers from River Quay Fish, The Jetty South Bank, Popolo Kitchen and Bar, and Aquitaine Brasserie. The Jetty will even be serving up a special gourmet sausage sizzle complete with the classic toppings. While the usually licensed area will not be licensed this Sunday, surrounding bars and restaurants will be serving alcohol as usual.
